The Culturally Relevant Pedagogies (EDUC 853) graduate course, which focuses on the diverse theories and practices that comprise culturally sustaining pedagogies, including but not limited to Multicultural Education, Ethnic Studies, Culturally Relevant/Sustaining Pedagogy and. Critical Pedagogy. Graduate students gain an understanding of these approaches and their aims, and consider their applicability and effectiveness across contexts.
